A Directory of Sources for Women's History in Ireland

This directory of information sources relating to the history of women in Ireland contains information and descriptions of over 14,000 collections and sources in 262 repositories in the Republic of Ireland and in Northern Ireland. The directory is the result of a survey undertaken by the Women's History Project.

Women in 20th-Century Ireland: Sources from the Department of the Taoiseach

Compiled and edited by Maria Luddy, Leeann Lane, Orla Fitzpatrick and Catherine Cox.

This database, containing just under 20,000 entries, has been produced by the Women's History Project and provides information on a particular set of records relating to central government, namely the files in the archive of the Department of the Taoiseach. This archive is in the custody of the National Archives where the original documents can be studied by researchers while the electronic list to the files can be searched on the website of the National Archives.
