Early-mid December: Media preview dates yet to be decided

Media preview – early-mid December 2012

The Reading Room will be closed to the public in early-mid December 2012 to facilitate the annual media preview of the archives of Government Departments which will be opened to the public in January 2013. Please note that only representatives of newspapers and broadcasting companies will be admitted to the Reading Room on the days of the media preview. Precise dates have yet to be decided, but it is likely that this will take place in the week beginning 3 December. Please continue to consult this page for confirmation of precise dates for the 2012 media preview.

Christmas 2012 and New Year 2013 closure

The Reading Room will close at 12.30 on Monday 24 December 2012 and will re-open at 10.00 on Thursday 27 December until Friday 28 December. It will open at 10.00 on Monday 31 December, will be closed on Tuesday 1 January 2013 and will re-open at 10.00 on Wednesday 2 January.
