The National Archives is currently updating the ‘T’ list of testamentary records to current archival standards and uploading the list in sections to its online catalogue, eventually replacing the testamentary card index in the Reading Room. The T list comprises copies and extracts of probated wills and administrations dating from the 1500s to the 1900s. It also includes extracts from parish registers, genealogical notes and papers relating to the granting of probates or administrations, even if the grant has not survived.

There are also deeds relating to the administration of Church of Ireland land. Currently over 6,000 entries have been re-listed and uploaded consisting of roughly 30% of the total and the remainder will be added when completed. View this list as completed so far.
