The report of 30 September 1915 records visits to the shop of Thomas J Clarke, 75 Parnell Street, by Ben Parsons and William O’Leary Curtis, followed by Joseph McGuinness and Seán MacDiarmada.

 

JJ Walsh is observed in his shop at 26 Blessington Street.

 

The departure of Darrel Figgis by mailboat to Holyhead is noted.

 

A meeting in the office of the Irish Volunteers, 2 Dawson Street, is attended by Michael J O’Rahilly, Seán MacDiarmada, John Milroy, Éamon de Valera, Patrick Ryan, Con Colbert and Herbert ‘Barney’ Mellows. It is noted that ‘Four Volunteers in uniform, and armed with rifles kept guard in the hall during the time’.

 

A copy is included of The Hibernian, the journal of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Copies of The Irish Volunteer and Nationality referred to in the report are not present.
