Report of 28 October 1915

The report of 28 October 1915 records visits to the shop of Thomas J Clarke, 75 Parnell Street, by TJ Sheehan, Con Colbert, Charles S Power and William O’Leary Curtis. Clarke himself is not present as he is ‘said to be confined to his residence, 10 Richmond Avenue, suffering from a cold’.
The return from Belfast of [James] O’Connor, Seán MacDiarmada and Charles S Power is noted.
A meeting in the office of the Irish Volunteers, 2 Dawson Street, is attended by Michael J O’Rahilly, Seán MacDiarmada, John Fitzgibbon, [James] O’Connor, Patrick Ryan, Michael O’Hanrahan, Joseph Plunkett, Peter Doyle, William T Cosgrave, Con Colbert, TJ Sheehan, Charles S Power and Herbert ‘Barney’ Mellows.
Alderman Thomas Kelly, P Morgan, [Walter] L Cole and Thomas S Cuffe are observed meeting in the office of Sinn Féin, 6 Harcourt Street.
Copies are included of the latest issues of The Irish Volunteer and Nationality. A copy is also included of a pamphlet on conscription by John Sweetman.
