The report of 23 September 1915 records visits to the shop of Thomas J Clarke, 75 Parnell Street, by Thomas Byrne, followed by John McGarry, Seán MacDiarmada, Major John MacBride, Patrick Ryan, George Irvine and TJ Sheehan.
Éamonn Ceannt is observed in D’Olier Street, while JJ Walsh is reported walking along Sackville Street [O’Connell Street].
A meeting in the office of the Irish Volunteers, 2 Dawson Street, is attended by Michael J O’Rahilly, Herbert ‘Barney’ Mellows, Éamon de Valera, John Fitzgibbon, [James] O’Connor, Éamonn Ceannt, Thomas MacDonagh, Patrick Ryan, Michael O’Hanrahan, Con Colbert, Piaras Béaslaí and John Milroy.
An annotation on the report states ‘A well-attended meeting of the Irish Vol. Committee’.
