The report of 21 October 1915 records visits to the shop of Thomas J Clarke, 75 Parnell Street, by Patrick H Pearse, followed by Ben Parsons, Joseph Murray, Arthur Griffith, William O’Leary Curtis, Piaras Béaslaí and Gerald Griffin.
The arrival of [James] O’Connor by train from Belfast is noted.
Bulmer Hobson, Jeremiah Joseph O’Connell and Patrick Ryan are observed in the office of the Irish Volunteers, 2 Dawson Street.
A meeting in the same office later that evening is attended by Edward Daly, Con Colbert, Bulmer Hobson, Patrick Ryan, Piaras Béaslaí, John Fitzgibbon, Seán MacDiarmada, Joseph Plunkett, Thomas MacDonagh, [James] O’Connor and Henry McCormack.
A lecture in the Sinn Féin Rooms, 6 Harcourt Street, by Arthur Griffith is attended by, among others, Major John MacBride, WL Cole, Thomas S Cuffe, P Morgan and William O’Leary Curtis.
