The report of 16 October 1915 records visits to the shop of Thomas J Clarke, 75 Parnell Street, by Seán T Ó Ceallaigh and John O’Mahony, followed  by WJ Ryan, John McGarry, Thomas Byrne, William O’Leary Curtis, Thomas MacDonagh, Piaras Béaslaí and TJ Sheehan.

 

The departure of Dr Patrick McCartan by train to Omagh [County Tyrone] and Patrick O’Malley to Galway is noted.

 

The release of Liam Mellows from Mountjoy Prison is reported.

 

A meeting in the office of the Irish Volunteers, 2 Dawson Street, is attended by Bulmer Hobson, Herbert ‘Barney’ Mellows, Michael O’Hanrahan and Jeremiah Joseph O’Connell. They are followed later the same evening by Éamon De Valera and George Irvine.

 

The report concludes with details of those attending a meeting at 41 Parnell Square, including Thomas J Clarke, MW O’Reilly, [James] Murray and John O’Mahony.
