Taifid ón gCartlann Náisiúnta ar láithreán gréasáin CAIN

On 28 November 2013, Jimmy Deenihan TD, Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, launched in excess of 700 digitised archival documents for the period 1970 to 1974 relating to the conflict in Northern Ireland on the University of Ulster’s CAIN (Conflict Archive on the INternet) website.

 

The originals of these documents are held in the National Archives and are drawn from the archives of the Departments of the Taoiseach, of Foreign Affairs and Trade and of Justice and Equality.  The CAIN site provides an extensive range of information and source material on the conflict and politics of Northern Ireland from 1968 to the present day.
