Document dated 11 January 1922 outlining the forthcoming indemnity to be granted by President of Dáil Éireann Arthur Griffith on the setting up of the Provisional Government as part of a full mutual amnesty between the British and Irish governments. The indemnity will issue to all members of the British forces, British government officials and those who cooperated with them during recent hostilities in Ireland ‘in respect of any acts committed or alleged to have been committed by them whether in Ireland or elsewhere in pursuance of those hostilities’.
