The Conservation Unit describes their work in conserving a small but very damaged part of the 1911 census.
Refurbishment works are currently being carried out in parts of the National Archives’ offsite storage in the Four Courts and as a result, all archives must be removed from the affected areas and will be unavailable to the public for the duration of the works (February-June).
